Where Sleeping Girls Lie-Faridah Abike-Iyimide

Starting midway through the school year is socially tough enough without being a brand new student at a prestigious private high school. Sade knows she’s starting at a disadvantage but having your new roommate disappear the day after she arrives is a whole other level. After realizing the only people who seem to care about her roommates disappearances are herself and her roommate’s best friend, she knows she has to figure out what happened. But unraveling a disappearance won’t just put a spotlight on the school, it also puts Sade in very real danger of exposing her own secrets and even endangers her own life.

Where Sleeping Girls Lie is 398 pages long and took me five days to read.

I could gush about this book for hours but let me just say, you do not want to sleep on this book. I’m giving it a 4.5 out of 5! I truly loved this book and if you’re into dark academia, thrillers or just a great story, this one’s for you!

Thank you, Macmillan, for sending me this copy!

Here’s to the adventure of finding a novel novel!
