The Lost Girls of Camp Forevermore- Kim Fu

One of my resolutions was to read outside of my “thriller” comfort zone. While this book is certainly thrilling, it’s in a much more literary form. And there’s no murdering. Lol

The Lost Girls of Camp Forevermore follows 5 of the campers lives while simultaneously revealing the events that took place at the camp that set them in their, not always pleasant, path.

Forevermore is 248 pages long and took me 5 days to read.

I want to start by saying I’m giving this book a 3.5 out of 5. It’s one of those books that sits with you after you’ve finished and makes you reflect on what you’ve read. For being a shortish book, I somewhat struggled while reading it and looking back I feel as though it’s because these girls seem so real. Their life after camp seems so plausible and because of that, heartbreaking. I didn’t necessarily ENJOY reading it, I’m very glad I did and will be recommending it.

Thank you HMH for sending me a copy!

Here’s to the adventure of finding a novel novel!
