Salt Lane- William Shaw

We’re currently remodeling our bathroom and have been lucky enough to stay with my in laws! I want to introduce Brogun, the black lab, who wasn’t totally thrilled about doing a photo shoot but is such a good boy that he let me snap some pics!

Detective Sergeant Alexandra Cupidi is no nonsense. She does her job and she does it well. After being transferred to a much smaller precinct, she has to deal with the rumors that followed her from London. Determined to not let anything slip her up, she is put on the case of murder of an older woman. When several more deaths follow with a similar M.O., she knows she is just the woman for the job.

Salt Lane is 450 pages long and took me 5 days to read.

I really loved this book. I’m giving this book a 4 out of 5 because Alex feels like a real person that you’d know and be super intimidated of in real life but would really want to be friends with. I will absolutely be reading more books with her as the main character and recommend you do the same!

Thank you Mulholland Books for sending me a copy!!

Here’s to the adventure of finding a novel novel!
