Ellery is no stranger to murder. She chose to become a police officer after she was rescued by one from the notorious serial killer, Francis Michael Coben. She moved far away so she wouldn’t be recognized and while no one in her squad knows who she really is, someone locally has found out. Every year around her birthday someone goes missing from her small town. When Ellery is at her witts end from lack if belief by her colleagues that a serial killer is at work, she contacts the newly disgraced FBI agent that saved her many years before to help her solve the case.
The Vanishing Season is 289 pages long and took me three days to read.
I absolutely loved this book and am giving it a 4 out of 5! I can’t wait to follow Ellery’s next mystery! She has quickly become one of my favorite detectives! Great for fans of Daniel Cole’s Hangman series!
Thank you, Minotaur, for sending me this copy!
