After a plague has made the human race a minority, robots rule the United States. Humans have been allowed a small area called ”The Preserve” in which robots are banned in order to keep some semblance of peace. But when the first murder on ”The Preserve” is a cyborg, chief of police Jesse Laughton must solve the case quickly before the robots step in. What seems to be the future of humans peaceful way of living falls on the shoulders of the exhausted Chief of Police.
The Preserve is 239 pages long and took me 2 days to read.
I really enjoyed this book and am giving it a 3.5! I really liked the world-building and my only complaint is that the book isn’t longer!
Thank you, Emily Bestler Books, for sending me this copy!
Here’s to the adventure of finding a novel novel!
