Rachel Marin has been on the run from her past for a long time. Working as an independent contractor helping solve cases for the local police department she finally feels semi-safe in the Illinois town she has settled down in with her two children. But when she receives a phone call from her son’s high school teacher minutes before he is murdered Rachel starts to suspect there is something bigger afoot. Then she gets a knock on her door from her past.
A Stranger At The Door is 392 pages long and took me 4 days to read.
I’m giving this book a 3.5 out of 5! It was “oh no, what’s going to happen next” sort of ride and I enjoyed every minute!
Thank you, Thomas & Mercer, for sending me this copy!
Here’s to the adventure of finding a novel novel!
