When Natalie receives a mysterious email threatening her from a secluded retreat her sister is attending, she knows she was right about letting her sister stay on the small island off the coast of Maine for six months without contact. Natalie knows now that she must intervene. After all, what kind of place blackmails their “student’s” relatives?
This Might Hurt is 319 pages long and took me four days to read.
The longer this book sat with me, the more I enjoyed it. I’m giving it a 3.5 out of 5! The character’s backstories are fascinating and pairing it up with the current circumstances in the book makes for a great read! This is a book you should snuggle up with on a cold winter night and be thankful that you’re inside!
