Small Game is 288 pages long and took me two days to read.
This book felt a little too real. I’m giving it a 3.5 out of 5 purely for the fact that it made me really sad and was hard for me to read emotionally. You become invested in the characters in a short amount of time and feel hurt when they hurt. It is well written and is probably a higher score but I was genuinely not in the right headspace to take this on when I read it.
