The Chill-Scott Carson

The town of Galesburg was purposely submerged over a hundred years ago to help build a dam and bring water to New York City. What keeps being forgotten is that the town wasn’t the only thing that drowned. Now the dam has severe damage and although this would seem like an urgent matter, there are… people… that see this as an opportunity to take back what stolen from them.

The Chill is 435 pages long and took me five days to read.

This book is so scary and atmospheric that I’m giving it a 4 out of 5! I both hated and loved reading this book. I found myself turning the lights on at every possible moment but really loved it as a whole!

Thank you, Simon & Schuster, for sending me this copy!

Here’s to the adventure of finding a novel novel!
