I found myself surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. It felt like each character was a real person and I could picture the whole thing playing out in front of me. I’m giving this book a 4.5 out of 5! I’ll definitely be tracking Samantha Jayne Allen’s writing going forward!

As someone who has seen their fair share of corn, I really enjoyed the backdrop of this story. I’m giving this a 4 out of five! The location felt like it’s own character in the story and me even more excited to know this will be a series!!

The longer this book sat with me, the more I enjoyed it. I’m giving it a 3.5 out of 5! The character’s backstories are fascinating and pairing it up with the current circumstances in the book makes for a great read! This is a book you should snuggle up with on a cold winter night and be thankful that you’re inside!
