I previously read Ashley Dyer’s previous book, Splinter in the Blood, and I couldn’t get over how much I enjoyed reading about detectives Ruth Lake and Greg Carver.

There is a serial killer on the loose. He has been named “The Ferryman” and he claims to be an artist who uses his killing as his installments. He now has a social media following that has the followers participating in the murders by documenting the scenes and obstructing justice. But detectives Lake and Carver are on the case and will do what they do best, find the man responsible.

The Cutting Room is 436 pages long and took me four days to read.

Ashley Dyer has done it again! I loved The Cutting Room even more than her previous Lake and Carver book. I’m giving this book at 4 out of 5. I enjoyed reading this book so much and can’t wait for the next book!

The Perfect Plan-Bryan Reardon

I absolutely LOVED Bryan Reardon’s previous book ”The Real Michael Swann”! When I heard ”The Perfect Plan” was coming out I was super excited to read Reardon’s next thrilling story.

Liam has always been second best to his big brother Drew. Drew has the looks, brains, charisma, wife, house and the job. Drew is running for governor in the upcoming election and has Liam standing by his side as the ”muscle”. But Liam is tired of being in Drews shadow and has come up with a plan to make sure he no longer has to be. Kidnapping Drew’s campaign manager should do the trick, right?

The Perfect Plan is 335 pages long and took me 2 days to read.

Mr. Reardon did not disappoint! I loved this book and am giving it a 4 out of 5! The characters he has developed are complex for such a face paced story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this!

The Perfect Fraud-Ellen Lacorte

I really enjoyed this book and am giving it a 4 out of 5! The struggles both women face are quite different but when this twisty story comes together it is darkly entertaining.

Screen Queens is 354 pages long and took me two days to read.

This book was so refreshing! I’m giving it a 3.5 out of 5! I loved seeing this story unfold and gave me a happy heart!

At the reunion, they are faced with the uncomfortable truth that one of their family harmed a camper years ago. But which of them was the culprit and can a family get past something this upsetting?

I’ll Never Tell is 375 pages long and took me 3 days to read.

Man, I really liked this book. I’m giving it a 4 out of 5. It’s one that has sat with me over the months and I’m so glad I read it!

One More Lie is 329 pages long and took me 6 days to read.

I had a really hard time reading this book. It could be that I’ve been in a reading funk but it felt super slow to me. Only the last few chapters I finally started to enjoy it. I do believe it’s worth the read but I have to give it a 2.5 out of 5 because I really struggled through it.

When driving home to her Florida house after dropping her kids off with her parents, she gets a notification that a hurricane is headed directly in her path. Her husband was supposed to make it home this evening after a trip to New York that has now been delayed due to the weather. After she preps their house by herself she tries to get some work in before she completely loses power. That’s when she sees a naked picture of a twenty-something on her husbands Ipad. In a fury she texts this girl while claiming to be her husband, asking her to come over to ride the storm out together. Needless to say, the storm is harsher inside the house than the hurricane raging outside.

Mine is 290 pages long and took me two days to read.

I really had fun reading this book! While it’s certainly upsetting, I’ll remember reading this for a long time. I’m giving it a 3.5 out of 5!
